HRS-2 - Autonomous CUAS

A compact bolt-on turret that detects, identifies and engages small drones. Decision logic runs onboard and executes in milliseconds. Embedded passive EO/IR sensors with support for external radar, RF and acoustic sensors for early warning and situational awareness. Networked or stand-alone. C2/C4 ready.

Configurations

One platform, three ways to deploy

Self-ContainedHRS-2

Autonomous-ready and self-contained bolt-on C-FPV system. On-board sensors provide detection, identification, tracking and engagement.

  • Integrated thermal imaging and EO complex
  • Detection 250 m, identification 150 m
  • Shotgun or small caliber MG as effector
  • Open for integrating soft-kill effectors

Best for: Point and sector defense of positions, vehicles, and UGVs.

With external sensorHRS-2R

Radar or other detectors provide early warning and guide the HRS-2 to the target. Example: Kongsberg DR100A.

  • Target designation from radar, acoustic or RF sensors
  • Early warning beyond visual range
  • Automatic targeting
  • Increased survivability

Best for: Valuable assets and multiple HRS-2s in a network for extended coverage.

Sensor & AI moduleHALO-AI

HALO-AI sensor and AI module for third-party turrets and combat modules.

  • Four cameras, a laser rangefinder and HALO-AI in one unit
  • Detection, tracking and range measurement
  • On-device AI-targeting

Best for: Upgrading existing turrets with autonomous CUAS features.

About us

Committed to creating CUAS that works

Halodyne was founded in Oslo, Norway, in July 2025 by serial tech founders with expertise in autonomous systems, robotics, and remote weapon stations.

Every day without an effective response to drones costs lives on the front lines in Ukraine. That's why we're creating the HRS-2, a compact autonomous-centric turret that detects, identifies, and engages small FPV drones.

We are developing the system in dialogue with those who will use it. Ukrainian frontline units and NATO forces tell us what the threat looks like and what the system must accomplish. Their requirements have shaped HRS-2 and feedback through validation and fielding is something we value.

The result is a system that can be mass-produced, deployed quickly, and is simple to use. This requires a combination of engineering and operational expertise, which our team has.
